Vanilla is loved and relied upon by food-industry professionals for the great taste it offers customers. Vanilla flavours are used regularly in confectionary and sweet dairy products.
Solvay operates FSSC 22000 certified facilities in Saint-Fons, France, as well as Baton Rouge, US. A third unit will be in operation soon in Zhenjiang, China. This new facility will serve the Asia-Pacific market, and will offer the same level of food safety commitment that consumers deserve worldwide.
With this new investment, Solvay establishes an industrial vanillin manufacturing platform which will control the entire production chain over three continents.
